What I do

Experienced Senior Visual Designer with over a decade of digital design agency tenure.

I am a very driven person that loves the challenge of continually pushing myself and my work to be better. Creating experiences that help the user easily get tasks accomplished, doing it with excellence and in a way that also gives the user joy is why I love what I do.

In my current role I manage multiple projects and timelines while creating and presenting high-quality design deliverables across web development, brand identity and marketing campaign design channels.

I’m proficient in the Figma, Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, HTML/CSS/LESS, typography, inclusive design and web standard best practices

How It Started

I was lucky enough to have found my love of creating art at an early age and then turn it into a meaningful career.

My journey started as a little kid painting and drawing throughout my childhood. While in college for advertising I was the classic Seattle musician working at Starbucks in between classes and playing the bars and clubs in a rock band on the weekends.

The schooling gave me the basics but the constant self promotion that comes with living the band life was the perfect spot for me to cut my teeth on everything I do now in my career. From teaching myself how to use Photoshop for branding, posters and merchandise design, to learning code to update the band’s website and e newsletters. I eventually traded in my drums for a design certification from the School of Visual Concepts.

I’ve now been designing professionally for over a decade and haven’t looked back.

Great job designing the coolest baseball tees! The team absolutely loves them and I'm so excited that our families are excited about wearing them as well.
